I read so many good things about the Gonzo Porter - I keep seeing it in those little 4 packs but I keep passing it up. I should really grab it next time.Scott-TheBrewClubhttp://thebrewclub.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7301312584515372728.post-69855657135260212382009-10-01T23:15:11.928-07:002009-10-01T23:15:11.928-07:00"Beer Tastes" has been included in this ..."Beer Tastes" has been included in this weeks Sites To See. The place that I am referring to is called Beverage Warehouse. It is exactly as the name describes: a warehouse of beverages. It is by no means affiliated with BevMo. In fact, if you go there, you will be very surprised at its location. It is in a small strip of random stores contained within a residential area. I imagine that they chose this location because it is cheaper than having a storefront on a major thoroughfare.

As for the beer, I think you may be surprised . . . its worth a shot I think.Zachhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12391096107053932556noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7301312584515372728.post-78033758350552262242009-09-18T14:23:45.300-07:002009-09-18T14:23:45.300-07:00Well stated review.

Might be worth the trip down there to save a few bucks I'd otherwise spend at the Whole Foods near my place.

Although we can agree on liking a few Big and Rich songs I don't think this beer is for me. It's an attractive bottle and all and I'm sure a lot of people would love it, but I just don't think I'd be one of them.Venice Beach Johnhttp://www.beerpongrules.biznoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7301312584515372728.post-72332516413431034052009-08-29T05:32:26.065-07:002009-08-29T05:32:26.065-07:00I am an artist so I appreciate art work on food it...I am an artist so I appreciate art work on food items even like the old fruit and vegetable crate labels if you remember?http://closertosane.blogspot.com/2009/08/beer-art.html -AnnAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7301312584515372728.post-71241804145210151582009-08-17T07:50:50.125-07:002009-08-17T07:50:50.125-07:00I'm wondering how this beer stacks up to North...I'm wondering how this beer stacks up to North Coast's Old Rasputin Russian Imperial Stout. The Old Rasputin is a big beer that is a bit over the top. I imagine their Old Plowshare is a different animal altogether.
